HM Plant Superbikes Superstars Draw the Crowds at Bikewise

HM Plant Superbikes Superstars Draw the Crowds at BikewiseAnyone who follows the British Superbike championship will have seen the familiar flash of orange and black as the riders of the HM Plant Honda Racing team fly past, but at HM Plant our involvement stretches much further than the track on race day.

For the past seven years we've been supporting the bike safety event BikeWise, each year proving a great success and attracting big crowds. This year was certainly no different.
HM Plant Honda Race Team Manager Havier 'Harvey' Beltran made the trip up North from Honda’s Race HQ with the two Honda Fireblade Superbikes of reigning champion Riuchi Kiyonari and current championship leader Shane ‘Shakey’ Byrne.

The two stunning bikes were almost as popular as Shakey himself, and Isle of Man TT legend John McGuinness (who were both kept busy all day talking to fans and signing autographs!)

BikeWise 2011 was another great event, and something we're proud to get involved in year after year; giving people the opportunity to see the team's Superbikes and riders up close and personal, as well as giving us the chance to help spread the important safety messages to the hundreds of biking enthusiasts attending.
