Dear Customer,
We wish to inform you that having reassessed our current method of call out charges, that as from 1 March we are pleased to confirm to you that there will be one single standard call out charge for site visits.
Outside the inner London congestion charge zone for England and Wales, we are replacing the current system from hours travelled plus mileage to one inclusive cost charge of £65.00. This charge is irrespective of the time taken to get to the job site or the mileage travelling to and from the jobsite.
Should there be a requirement to visit your machine on a second occasion for the original fault reported, you will not be charged any additional call out fee. If during the initial repair or service of your machine we identify a secondary fault or problem, which needs to be rectified and requires a second visit, then you will be notified for approval and only in this circumstance will you be charged a second call out charge.
For machines working inside the London congestion charge zone, a flat rated call out charge irrespective of hours travelled or mileage, will be fixed at £90.00, inclusive of the current congestion charge.
We trust that this will eliminate any questions or disputes in relation to travel time charging.
We at HM Plant are constantly monitoring our services and systems and anticipate that these changes will to be to the benefit of you the customer in having the knowledge of a fixed call out charge for all future work that you require from HM Plant.
